This painting feels like the moment when you move something slightly to the left and suddenly everything makes more sense.

A soft green ground carries the whole piece while arcs, dashes, and curved marks wander across the surface. Yellows, pinks, and cooler blue-greens weave in and out like little adjustments happening in real time.

The brushwork builds in layers that respond to each other as they go. One mark leads to another, then another, until the surface slowly fills in its own slightly quirky rhythm.

Playful, a little improvised, and happily unplanned. The visual version of stepping back, tilting your head, and deciding… yep, looked better like this.

Painted on paper, which means the surface may have slight waviness, soft edges, or small quirks from the material. Those are part of the piece and part of how it was made.
