Built through layered, rhythmic brushwork, Looked Better Like This moves across a predominantly green ground with repeated arcs, dashes, and curved forms. Yellows, soft pinks, and cooler blue-greens weave through the surface, creating a sense of pattern and quiet motion.

The composition developed intuitively, with marks accumulating and responding to one another rather than following a fixed plan. The result feels playful and organic, balancing structure with looseness as the surface gradually filled.

This work is made on paper and embraces the natural qualities of the material. Subtle waviness, edge wear, or small surface irregularities may be present and are considered part of the piece’s character and process.
