Layered Cake

Layered Cake
14" × 18"
Oil, glue, acrylic, and canvas pieces on gallery wrapped canvas

A cake made by someone who kept adding frosting because stopping would have been boring.

Orange, pink, and yellow are scraped and piled across the canvas, with little blue fabric pieces pressed into the surface like decorations. Some layers peek through; others are covered up completely. It’s bright, messy, and full of good surprises.
